We Just Want to Play

Its been 10 years since the first Israeli aggression against Gaza. Since then, thousands of innocent lives have been claimed; entire neighbourhoods have been flattened; an electricity crisis and shortage of drinking water make daily life unbearable.

There is an entire generation of children that have never left Gaza, and know no other reality. They suffer far more than any child should.

Rates of post-traumatic stress disorder, depression and anxiety have reached alarming levels. The UN estimates more than 300,000 children in Gaza are in need of psychological support.

These children want nothing more than a peaceful life; they just want to play.

This is their story.
