#deactivateAirbnb

Stand for justice and deactivate your Airbnb account on 15 May, Nakba Day.

Airbnb is choosing to continue listing apartments for rent in illegal Israeli settlements. These properties are built on stolen Palestinian land and are considered war crimes under international law.

By doing business in these settlements, Airbnb is directly promoting discrimination, oppression, and injustice against an entire people.

May 15th is the anniversary of the Nakba – the day when a million Palestinians lost their land and homes. Take action on May 15th to show Airbnb that supporting injustice is unacceptable:

Dear Brian,

I am deeply disappointed by Airbnb’s decision to continue listing rentals in illegal Israeli settlements that are built on stolen Palestinian land. These settlements are considered war crimes under international law.

This goes against your own policy of non-discrimination. We hoped your company would be a leader by living up to its values.

I have decided to deactivate my Airbnb account because I can no longer support a company that profits from injustice.

Best,
